CanadaSara Sparks is an amazingly talented artist!!
In Nov of 2021, I commissioned Sara Sparks of Gillmor’s Coach House to create 2 pet portraits of our beloved grand dogs to give to our 2 grown children and their families for Christmas. I emailed her several pictures of the dogs and in less than 2 weeks she emailed me with the finished portraits alongside the photos she worked from. I was completely blown away by what I saw! I’m not kidding when I say that had to look very closely to determine which were the photos and which were the portraits, they were that good! She captured them beautifully! Such attention to detail, and the eyes, oh the eyes! Needless to say my husband and I could not wait for Christmas and it was so worth the wait! The kids reactions were priceless! From the confused looks of “where did you…who did this” and “it’s beautiful…it’s amazing….it looks just like her/him!” to the tears…and the many thank you's. Now the portraits hang proudly in their homes. I only wish I could post them here for all to see! Sara, I knew you were talented, but these were above and beyond anything we could’ve imagined! Thank you so very much.

Sara Sparks has been drawing and painting animals since she was a child. Her love of animals (all kinds) shines through in all her work. Whether she is depicting horses, cats, dogs, crows or any number of other critters, they are unique and beautiful creations.
